Whether working as a reporter on a breaking news story, or a publicist on a red carpet, my career has always been rooted in my love of entertainment. Within the industry my experience ranges from theatrical publicity, to corporate communications, to marketing, to print and broadcast journalism.

After graduating with a BA in Communication from the University of Southern California, I worked at Lucasfilm in their immersive entertainment division specializing in VR and AR projects across all Disney studios. I helped craft marketing and publicity campaigns for location based VR experiences Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Ralph Breaks VR, and Marvel Studios Avengers: Damage Control.

Currently at Pixar, my team and I are responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our films’ publicity campaigns from premieres, international press tours, junkets, theme park attractions, and streaming content on Disney+. I’ve worked on campaigns including Cars 3, Coco, Toy Story 4, Onward, Soul, Luca, Turning Red, and the release of our newest film Lightyear.

Public Relations

I worked with Maya at the Hollywood Reporter together as editorial interns. Maya arrived punctually every morning with a warm smile and ready to jump into whatever project was delegated to her for that day. She displayed an impressive work ethic, enthusiastically volunteered to take on additional side work, took a genuine interest in the well being of her colleagues, and blossomed as a budding journalist and young professional.

Maya was my point of contact for all things marketing & PR related at ILMxLAB. She is a joy to work with and demonstrated incredible grace under pressure while dealing with a lot of moving parts. Given that we were juggling very tight production schedules for our projects, she was quick to adapt to help keep us on track while still shining the best light on our projects and artists. Maya was also proactive in learning about all parts of the studio process, making herself an invaluable member of our team.

I had the privilege of interning at The Hollywood Reporter with Maya. Maya is absolutely amazing. Her work ethic, drive and natural ability to grasp direction made her invaluable to the organization. Maya has a very positive and optimistic energy about her. What I enjoyed most about Maya was her ability to have a professional attitude, while keeping things light hearted and fun.
